How to Order Perforated Metals

1. Give number of sheets needed
2. Give gauge or thickness of metal
3. Kind of metal
4. Give size of perforation, shape, centers and arrangement of holes
5. Size of sheet
6. Submit sketch or print when possible

Custom & Special Considerations

Cylindrical or Revolving Screens

  • Give inside or outside diameter
  • Specify dimension entering roll or length if standing on end after rolling
  • Specify perforation arrangement if important
  • Specify margins required
  • Butt or lap joint

    Hammermill Screens

  • Width
  • Outside length
  • Chord length
  • Flange dimensions
  • Margins

    End Margins

    Specify finished or unfinished when end margins required for panels
    or full sheets. Unfinished often standard unless specified. See diagram.

    Slotted Holes

    Oblong or rectangular holes. Specify end or side stagger. Also which
    way the slots run on the sheet (long way of slot parallel to width or length).
